History

In 1973, Pastors Sterling and Jean Miller, along with their two babies, sixty dollars in their pockets, and a passion for spreading the gospel, came to Lafayette to build a church with a ministry for every member of the family. Not long after the opening of the church, we celebrated the opening of Lafayette Christian Academy in 1974.

Beginning as a one-room facility, LCA is now a campus of over 1,000 students from K4 through 12th grade.

What started out as approximately 2.5 acres of land has now grown to over 100 acres of land with new facilities, a gymnasium, a youth hall, a Performing Arts Center, and several other buildings... and we are not done yet!
